Biography
I have been in the private practice of general adult psychiatry since 1967.
I enjoy helping people understand the reasons for their emotional difficulties
and helping them find ways to deal with their distress in a supportive and
nonjudgmental environment. We cannot change the past but we can change how
we understand it. We can also come to a better understanding of ourselves
in the present. I use a combination of psychotherapeutic approaches and
prescribe medications when appropriate. My work provides me with a great
deal of satisfaction and I find I'm constantly learning.
In certain situations, initial evaluations will be done for minimal fees.
I am married and have two adult children. My hobbies are traveling, boating,
fishing, camping and digital photography.
